Beat Death…….JUST BEAT IT

A second opinion on deathNobody gets accustomed to death. It tends to be tragic, sad and most times unexpected. We have come to accept it as the norm and as the English band, Queen says it another one bites the dust“.
It is easy for us as believers to justify this by saying the wages of sin is death, Rom 6:23 but we seem to forget or rather disregard the other half of the scripture that says ” but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ( the anointed one) our Lord”. Luckily for us the bible validates itself because some might interpret the second half of the scripture to mean that this gift can only be fulfilled when we die…….In the sweet by and by…. sounds familiar.
Heb 11:5, says by faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death. This means that Enoch BEAT DEATH and it was put there in the bible for us to know that it is possible.
Let’s examine this translation. Translation is the deepest type of change where the molecules in the body resonate differently and no longer resembles its original state. 1Cor 15:19 says that as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. and also   1Cor15:51 explains we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.
Nature has a plan and that plan is for you to die. It is believed that a population is balance when birth rates equal death rates so there would be enough for all. However nature  or mother earth as we call it is no more that the collective thinking of a people. Each country has its own interpretation of nature, the Asian world view it differently form the western world and within there are different concepts.
However God has a different plan for his people. Enoch experienced an alternative to nature’s plan of death. If we look again at Heb 11: 5 it says God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased God. When a man’s ways pleases God he can even defy death. Death will respect you and  even the stones of the field and the beasts of the air will be at peace with you, Job 5:23.  Daniel was at peace with the lion when he was thrown into the den, Daniel 1-24. Remember death has already been defeated. Jesus rose from the dead. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? So think it not strange that you can BEAT DEATH because it is already defeated.
