Outgive God💰

Does the world have problems? How do we solve them?

Today let us share some answers. The answer to the world’s problems is in the sowing of seeds……..Let us give you a moment to think on this 😕 💭.

God has given you seeds to sow. For every situation there is a seed response You can either choose to plant it and receive a harvest 🌾 🌾 🌾 or eat it and produce…..💩💩💩. .

Planting….. which is giving with intention….. is an act of love😍 and sacrifice. God loves a cheerful giver 😀 😀, 2Cor 9:7.

If you sow sparingly you reap sparingly, Prov11:24. Try to OUTGIVE God and see if he will not surpass your expectations.

⚠️ ⚡ ⚠ ⚡⚠️ ️Take heed…..

Avoid encouraging others to give grudgingly.

…Every time you force someone to give an offering, you are contravening the word of God. Remember God knows the heart 💓 of a person. Just as in the laws of the land, INTENTION is key.

Lastly, as in all farming 🚜 practices it is important to plant on fertile ground🌎 . Where is fertile ground? I will leave you with this thought…consider Moses’ rod and how it budded………Until next time..

Building Character

“I would become a Christian if it wasn’t for Christians…….I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” Two provoking and somewhat controversal statements made by Mahatma Gandhi the renowned leader of the Indian National Congress and an advocate for non-violence and truth in all situations. He claimed that his reason for not becoming a christian was due to christians’ behaviour.

If Mahatma Gandhi experienced it, consider what God thinks about our behaviour. Our lack of integrity; living up to the promises we have made; the back biting; the gossiping. Christians are often labelled as the worst kind of people who have no standards or sense of excellence. Why is that, when we serve a God of excellence, who always gives of his best and never goes back on his word.

God definitely wants to bless us and bless us abundantly but do we have the character to sustain it? Would we forget about God and our commitment to him if we were to attain more wealth. Would church now become option and our service to him be a “favour”. Let’s allow righteousness and integrity be the words associate with us

Does God Promise You Riches?

How many of us have heard that God only gives us what we need and not what we want or that being humble means that you don’t want much from life? Much, meaning the luxuries of this life such as; cars, clothes, houses, good relationships and a prosperous business just to name a few. Some may consider this ideology as being very Christian-like but what does the bible say about prosperity? And does God promises riches?

In Deut 8:18, God identities that he has given the power to be wealthy and that we should put Him in remembrance as the source of riches, “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth”. This scripture shows that God is not opposed to riches and in fact is the creator of such. On an individual basis the bible shows many wealthy individuals such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and Solomon just to name a few.

These were faithful men who followed after God and because of their faithfulness they saw their household increase. The extent of their riches was by no means small as shown in Gen 13:2 where Abraham was “heavily stocked with herds and silver and gold.” Also when the combined armies of four Eastern Kings captured Abraham’s nephew Lot, Abraham mustered his trained men three hundred and eighteen slaves born in his household (Gen 14:14). Not forgetting King Solomon who was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth (2 Chron 9:22).

If you are faithful to God will he bless you with riches? The ideology commonly used says that God may bless you will riches and it probably would not be the sort of material blessings you envision. Let’s examine the word, blessing. A blessing is a divine aid or fortune bestowed upon someone. It is meant to increases their worth or value. Blessings can come in all forms as experienced by Abraham who was blessed in every way (Gen 24:1) but one major blessing was the conception of Abraham’s son, Isaac. It was Abraham’s desire to conceive a son that made the blessing significant to him and it was because of his belief in God’s that caused his son to manifest. “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” (Gen 15:6,) and this belief also allowed him to become the father of many nations (Rom 4:3).

This is to say that it is in the believing that determines what type of kind of blessing one receives. This blessing can be triggered by a desire, be it material or spiritual. For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things (Matt 6:32). If you believe God can supply all your needs according to his riches in glory (Phil 4:9) then you can receive riches. However if you believe that God’s hand is short then according to your belief so shall you receive. God’s word is sure and he is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind (Num 23:19). He will bless the faithful and those who will seek diligently after him.

HellHell, we think of it as a fiery place where the devil has horns, red teeth and a pick fork, lurking in the dark, ready to devour whom he wishes. How long have we had this vision of hell? This vision seeks to put the devil in some far-off place  from us and our universe. With advancements in technology and the way we communicate and think, wouldn’t it be plausible that the devil has also advanced his image. The devil of the 21st Century……… stay tuned for this article.

The first question that comes to mine concerning hell is “Is there a hellMatt 13:41- 50, 25:41 describes Hell as being originally carded for the devil and his band of angels who rebelled against God. These scriptures also describe it as a place for unbelievers of Christ. One could wonder, if God is such a loving God how could he allow people  to go to hell? God is just, Romans 2:11 and has provided salvation to all those who would come unto him John 3:16,17:2, Cor 5:15. He has placed our future in our hands.

Lets examine this with respect to our daily lives. “Why do we throw away garbage and if we don’t throw this garbage away what will be the result. Before these things became garbage they were once of value, just like in the case of human beings. Human beings that add value to human life and the cosmic well-being create the future. However when they become harmful to the future they are no longer of value and in fact their existence threatens well-being.

Just like the garbage from our homes is taken to the city dump; even so hell is the place for human waste which is then taken to the cosmic waste dump. Those who continue to practice non-kosher ways cannot enter into the future 1 Cor 6:8-11 and will find their place in hell. Believing in hell doesn’t make it exist because it does but instead helps you to make better choices in life. We believe that there is a hell to shun and a kingdom to gain.
