The Blessing

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

The blessing is a very special impartation which cannot be confused with a blessing. The blessing has weight that no man can revert not even GOD can reverse it, Numbers 23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. We see this in motion when Isaac imparted the blessing to Jacob, Gen 27:27-29, it was irreversable and not even Isaac could recant it. A blessing on the other hand is singular in nature and relates to a specific area.

Abraham gave to his son Isaac the blessing. This blessing is transferrable and brings with it numerable and innumerable benefits. Abraham gave Isaac all that he had , Gen 13:2 (numerable) and also gave the power to be prosperous in everything (innumerable). He passed on the multiplying effect which was part of the Abrahamaic covenant. This same blessing was then transfered to Jacob by Isaac.

Though the impartation was completed by Abraham. The activation of the blessing only came through a specific action. This action was sowing. In Gen 8:22 God said as long as the earth remaineth seedtime and harvest. The blessing was activated when Isaac sowed Gen 26:12, Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

If you accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, we also have access to this same great blessing because Jesus redeemed us by his blood. So by his grace we have access to this multiplier blessing. Just like Isaac we can activate our blessings by sowing.

Exponetial life or energy as in Eistein’s theory (e=mc²) is laid domant in the seed. The only way to release its full potential is to sow it. A seed can answer any question in life. It can open doors, it can expose the truth. However it can only achieve this by being planted on good ground, Mark 4:5 and the percentage of yield is determine by your faith ,Math 9:29.

The power of the Blessing

The power of the blessing is not be taken lightly. It is more powerful than money. Today we see the impact of Noah’s blessing on his three sons. The blessing known as the Grace of God in the new testament is transferable.

We see a trail of impartations of the blessing in the bible from Noah, Isaac, Jacob, Moses…… Grace is all sufficient, 2 Cor 12:9, and defies all logic. No need to haunt yourself by man made righteousness. GOD does not deal with your trespasses, psalm 103:12

However you have to grow in grace. Growth can only come when there is new knowledge. Knowledge that Jesus paid the price for our sins and we are no longer under the law but Grace. Understanding that the kingship was passed on to him through the blessing that Joseph bestowed on Judah.

Grace is inexplicable and does not follow reason or operate by the laws of science. A higher law comes in to focus as in miracles. A law that turns nothing (the God particle) to something…. Let the grace of God be established in you today. In 2018 trust in grace.

Being rich is better than being poor

What would you rather be a poor christian who cannot afford anything or one who is rich like Abraham? Abraham was rich in cattle, silver and gold as seen in Gen 13:2. A lot of people believe that blessings in the christian society are not manifested in terms of riches but instead spiritual gifts. This is not true. The bible shows the great men of God as being full with abundance. The world does not respect poverty. If your God is so great why can’t you afford. Why do you always beg if your God is the great provider?

There are those who believe that only the true descendents of Abraham are entitled to these riches but Gal 3:7 reminds us that ….. they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Also Gal 3:8. emphasises that the nations will be rich so it’s not just individual blessing but that which extends to nations. We are often told to look at the cross or to look at Jesus for an increase in blessings. However our blessings did not originate from Jesus but from the Abrahamic covenant. Abraham is our standard, Isaiah 51:2 says look unto Abraham your father…… for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him. We are stepping into a season where the wilderness will be like Eden and the desert like the garden of  God, Isaiah 51:3.

Salvation Isn’t Everything

So you thought is was over when you got baptised and professed that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and was resurrected on the third day. SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE, that was just the qualifying blood mark, the work has now begun!

Believe it, being saved is not your one way ticket to the heaven, unfortunately this is the belief of many christian communities today. We continue to breed; virtue-less, powerless christians that are plagued with the ills of this world.

No amount of good works are going to make us better people. We need the anointing of God to change us. Even Paul had issues and lamented in 2 Cor 12: 7-10 about the “thorn in the flesh”.

In Jer 31:33 God said ” I will put my law in their inward parts and write in their hearts and will be their God and they shall be my people”. This improved covenant was targeted towards the house of Judah (Praise), it sort to address the flaws of the adminstering of  the fleshy laws ( written on stone tablets) that were constantly broken by the people. God honours covenant and so improved his covenant so that we will all benefit.

For a victorious, virtuous people to be established, change must come in the form of  transformation. Transformation of our very essence or nature which is our DNA. God wants to rewrite the DNA within us because we have adopted “Adam”s DNA and the result of his DNA is clear…… For as in Adam all die,  1 Cor 15: 21-23. This concept might sound strange but 1 Cor 15:51 says that we shall not all sleep but we shall be changed. GOd wants us to adopt Jesus’ DNA……. By man came also the resurrection of the dead….even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

When the (613 Mitzvahs) laws are written in our heart then virtue can flow from us and we could do what Romans 12:2 says …….. that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and the perfect will of God. And just for clarity,  3 John 1:2 explains GOd’s will…… Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth.

Remember there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun!!!! It’s a work in progress.

Made of Honour

Made of Honour

God has to heal our broken spirits. He has to build character in us. One should take time to build character so that he or she will be ready to receive what God will give you. It has been observed that church revivals have never lasted. This was because it consisted of persons who had broken spirits that weren’t healed.

We can heal our broken spirits from the hurt and pain and have instead a super lifestyle one that is made of honour. We will be able to be the best of the best. First start by saying good things about yourself. You can do something good, identify that! Stop participating in verbal suicide. Use words that would uplift you for we are more than conquerors .Psalm 8:5  says” For thou hast made man a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour”,kjv. Man was made with honour, a little god. Honour means respect and esteem. God made man with high respect. Disrespect is the opposite to that of honour. Man was made to be achievers and builders of society.

Give honour to where honour is due. When we dishonour God we dishonour ourselves. Heb 11:24 Moses was not seduced by the seasonal pleasures of Pharaoh’s kingdom. He istead decided to honour the kingdom of God because he knew that the reward God would give would be much greater. Remember Esau gave up his blessing to appease his temporary lust for food. Even though Esau repented for many years, he never regained his birthright. Don’t place yourself in a position where you are begging to regain your position in God. There comes a point with God where he can reject you. Have respect for the things of God and honour your ministry. Honour your worship time and take time to pray.

Does God Promise You Riches?

How many of us have heard that God only gives us what we need and not what we want or that being humble means that you don’t want much from life? Much, meaning the luxuries of this life such as; cars, clothes, houses, good relationships and a prosperous business just to name a few. Some may consider this ideology as being very Christian-like but what does the bible say about prosperity? And does God promises riches?

In Deut 8:18, God identities that he has given the power to be wealthy and that we should put Him in remembrance as the source of riches, “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth”. This scripture shows that God is not opposed to riches and in fact is the creator of such. On an individual basis the bible shows many wealthy individuals such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and Solomon just to name a few.

These were faithful men who followed after God and because of their faithfulness they saw their household increase. The extent of their riches was by no means small as shown in Gen 13:2 where Abraham was “heavily stocked with herds and silver and gold.” Also when the combined armies of four Eastern Kings captured Abraham’s nephew Lot, Abraham mustered his trained men three hundred and eighteen slaves born in his household (Gen 14:14). Not forgetting King Solomon who was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth (2 Chron 9:22).

If you are faithful to God will he bless you with riches? The ideology commonly used says that God may bless you will riches and it probably would not be the sort of material blessings you envision. Let’s examine the word, blessing. A blessing is a divine aid or fortune bestowed upon someone. It is meant to increases their worth or value. Blessings can come in all forms as experienced by Abraham who was blessed in every way (Gen 24:1) but one major blessing was the conception of Abraham’s son, Isaac. It was Abraham’s desire to conceive a son that made the blessing significant to him and it was because of his belief in God’s that caused his son to manifest. “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” (Gen 15:6,) and this belief also allowed him to become the father of many nations (Rom 4:3).

This is to say that it is in the believing that determines what type of kind of blessing one receives. This blessing can be triggered by a desire, be it material or spiritual. For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things (Matt 6:32). If you believe God can supply all your needs according to his riches in glory (Phil 4:9) then you can receive riches. However if you believe that God’s hand is short then according to your belief so shall you receive. God’s word is sure and he is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind (Num 23:19). He will bless the faithful and those who will seek diligently after him.

HellHell, we think of it as a fiery place where the devil has horns, red teeth and a pick fork, lurking in the dark, ready to devour whom he wishes. How long have we had this vision of hell? This vision seeks to put the devil in some far-off place  from us and our universe. With advancements in technology and the way we communicate and think, wouldn’t it be plausible that the devil has also advanced his image. The devil of the 21st Century……… stay tuned for this article.

The first question that comes to mine concerning hell is “Is there a hellMatt 13:41- 50, 25:41 describes Hell as being originally carded for the devil and his band of angels who rebelled against God. These scriptures also describe it as a place for unbelievers of Christ. One could wonder, if God is such a loving God how could he allow people  to go to hell? God is just, Romans 2:11 and has provided salvation to all those who would come unto him John 3:16,17:2, Cor 5:15. He has placed our future in our hands.

Lets examine this with respect to our daily lives. “Why do we throw away garbage and if we don’t throw this garbage away what will be the result. Before these things became garbage they were once of value, just like in the case of human beings. Human beings that add value to human life and the cosmic well-being create the future. However when they become harmful to the future they are no longer of value and in fact their existence threatens well-being.

Just like the garbage from our homes is taken to the city dump; even so hell is the place for human waste which is then taken to the cosmic waste dump. Those who continue to practice non-kosher ways cannot enter into the future 1 Cor 6:8-11 and will find their place in hell. Believing in hell doesn’t make it exist because it does but instead helps you to make better choices in life. We believe that there is a hell to shun and a kingdom to gain.
